ADFT: Antimicrobial Dry Fog Treatment.
The final step of every treatment job. ADFT pairs an ultra-fine fog that reaches corners, vents and hard-to-reach spots with an electrostatic disinfectant application on your home's hard surfaces.
Stage one: the fog
With people and pets out of the home, we seal the doors and windows and fill the space with an ultra-fine fog of a thyme-based botanical product. The fog drifts where cloths and sprayers can't easily go, and works as a final cleaning pass. We wait until it settles, then air the home out.
Stage two: electrostatic disinfection
An electrostatic sprayer gives each droplet a charge, so it wraps around handles, edges and the backs of surfaces instead of only landing on the front. We apply the same EPA-registered, thyme-based disinfectant to hard, non-porous surfaces and leave it wet for the full contact time on its label.
Why thyme?
The active ingredient in our disinfectant is thymol, which comes from thyme oil. Its EPA label carries the "CAUTION" signal word, the lowest of the three levels EPA uses. See the label and registration details on our products page.
What we ask of you
- Everyone, including pets, steps out during the treatment.
- Stay out until the product has settled and the re-entry time has passed. We tell you the time before we start.
- Let us know about anything delicate, like electronics or special finishes, so we can protect or skip it.
